My Story

A smiling woman with blonde hair sitting at a table with a laptop and coffee mug.

Hi - I’m Jessica, senior communications leader and accessibility advocate.

I learned about accessibility in 2019 - and quickly realized how “the way we’ve always done things” excludes A LOT of people.

More than 44 million Americans have a disability, yet marketing teams still view this audience as niche.

My passion is to show teams how small changes in how we design events and content can make a big difference to people with disabilities.

My credentials: I built Ubisoft’s award-winning global accessibility communications program, and was honored in 2023 with the Game Accessibility Conference’s “MVP Award for Unsung Hero.”

If you want to create accessible content and don’t know where to start, I’d love to be your first stop.

How to Advocate for Accessibility on Your Team

Marketing campaigns are about building hype, revealing just enough information to pique fans' interest, while saving key details to share at high-impact brand moments. But gamers with disabilities can't look forward to a game's launch until they know whether or not they'll be able to play it.
